Our Spray Park Favorites:

Kinsmen Spray Park

Location: 9170 Walterdale Hill, Edmonton (Beside the Queen Elizabeth Outdoor Pool)

  • Family park in the heart of the River Valley
  • Manipulative features on its equipment for water aiming fun
  • Gorgeous park setting
  • Picnic benches
  • Large field
  • Bathrooms inside of the Kinsmen Field House beside the park

Kinsmen park also has a playground, walking trails, picnic benches and a sports field.

Castle Downs Skate & Spray Park

Location: 11930-153 Avenue, North Edmonton

  • Huge play area
  • Toddler section
  • Adjacent outdoor skate park
  • Picnic Tables
  • Lots of grass area for picnics or sun bathing
  • Places to BBQ or set up lunch (or an outdoor birthday party!)
  • Surrounded by trees for lots of shade
  • Bathrooms on site

Huge parking lot and shares the same field as the Castle Downs YMCA. Plus – there is usually an ice cream truck in the parking lot for the day when the weather is hot!

Jackie Parker Spray Park

Location: 4540 50 Street NW, in South East Edmonton

  • Come here to get SOAKED. So many water features!
  • Areas of water play for younger kids that do not have the spray features
  • Water rings to run through
  • Lots of running space

This spray park has an enormous playground right next to it! Great place to spend a hot afternoon.

Broadmoor Lake Playground

Location: Broadmoor Lake, Sherwood Park (Just off of Sherwood Drive & Oak Street)

  • Huge play area
  • Water play section
  • Climbing structures for dry play
  • Slides & swings
  • Picnic benches
  • Lots of grass space with view of the park
  • Gorgeous view of nearby lake
  • Walking trails along the park
  • Bathrooms on site

Sherwood Park is just a few minutes east of Edmonton – this spray park is well worth the drive.

Woodlands Water Park

Location: 165 Sturgeon Rd, St. Albert

  • Medieval-themed spray park
  • Three different section geared toward different age groups
  • Splash buckets that hold over 50 gallons of water
  • On site change rooms and washrooms
  • Splash deck cafe
  • Adjacent volleyball court and skate park

Lots of grass area for picnics, the different sections keep the kids busy for longer, and I never find it overly crowded. Just minutes from the Anthony Henday.

Hudson Spray Park

Location: Cumberland Road, North Edmonton

  • Quiet park in a residential area
  • Smaller spray park section with attached playground section
  • Picnic benches

We love this one because it is a smaller, quiet park with newer features. Great place for an outdoor playdate!

The best part about water play in Edmonton is that it is FREE! There is no charge to play at any of the spray parks!
