Some sad news for Canadian Disney fans! All Disney Store locations in our country are rumoured to be closing by the end of this coming Summer. According to Retailer Insider, Disney is looking to close almost all of it’s stand-alone retail stores, including all 18 currently operating in Canada.
Hopefully this means the go-ahead for the long promised online Canadian Disney website, although the magic of the store will be missed!
Current Disney Store locations in Edmonton:
- Kingsway Mall
- West Edmonton Mall
There are also two Disney store locations in Calgary, and the rest of the Canadian stores are located in British Columbia, Ontario and Manitoba.
