Zoominescence is now up and running for the season at the Edmonton Valley Zoo! Come down to check out the artistic light installations throughout the zoo grounds.
When:
4:30 pm to 9 pm on the following days:
- December 3 to December 12, 2021 – Every Friday to Sunday
- December 17, 2021 to January 2, 2022 – Daily (closed Christmas Eve & Christmas Day)

Warm up with some hot chocolate (sold on site!) or by the fire pit at the entrance. Enjoy light displays throughout the grounds, including musical light shows – plus of course, the animals! There are a couple of indoor venues open as well.
Note: Most of the displays are outdoors, so be sure to dress for the weather 🙂
Omg! I’ve never seen anything the beautiful.. we just moved here from Vancouver on the only day the hwys opened.. well 2 day before moving my husband and myself got into a car accident and had to now pay movers to move our stuff.. as he has back problems now, and I have limited time I can stand or walk….
Anyways we tried to find out where our stuff is, they can’t tell us anything more than it’s in Vancouver. 2 weeks now, it has all our belongings, gifts , snow gear.. we are getting the basics used but I would love to take my family to something like this to cheer them up, it’s been a hard year.. the problem we face in BC is we are a large family 3 adults 7 children… not only can we never afford, they always said our family was too big or we had nothing like this to do..
Are these issues here or how much does it cost for family membership.. and any restrictions. Thank you for your time
