The City of Edmonton is Offering FREE Youth Programs for Kids Aged 13-17 City-Wide

YEG Youth Drop-in Programs:

The City of Edmonton is offering free youth drop-in programs across the city. There will be a variety of activities in each program aimed at youth aged 13 to 17. The program runs from September 16, 2019 to June 14, 2020.

What to Expect:

  • Safe hang-out space
  • Gym time
  • Board Games
  • Swimming
  • Art
  • Crafts
  • Light snacks included at select locations
  • & more

When & Where:

Mondays:

  • Castle Downs Park Pavilion: 11524-153 Avenue – 5 pm to 8 pm, Multipurpose room 2
  • The Meadows Recreation Centre: 2704-17 Street NW – 5 pm to 8 pm – West Gym 2
  • St. Francis Xavier Sports Centre: 9240-163 Street – 5 pm to 8 pm – Gym 2
  • 124 Street Youth Drop-in: 11514-127 Street – Inglewood School – 4:15 pm to 7:15 pm

Tuesdays:

  • Cardinal Leger Junior High School: 8804-144 Avenue – 6 pm to 9 pm
  • Dr Lila Fahlman School: 680 Allard BLVD SW – 6 pm to 9 pm

Wednesdays:

  • Terwillegar Community Recreation Centre: 2031 Leger Road NW – 4:15 pm to 7:15 pm – Gym 2
  • Clareview Community Recreation Centre: 3804-139 Avenue – 5 pm to 8 pm – Multipurpose Room 6
  • 124 Street Youth Drop-in: 11514-127 Street – Inglewood School – 4:15 pm to 7:15 pm

Thursdays:

  • Abbotsfield Recreation Centre: 3006-119 Avenue – 6 pm to 9 pm
  • Lois Hole (Callingwood) Library: 17650-69 Avenue – 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm

Fridays:

  • Millwoods Community Recreation Centre: 7207-28 Avenue – 5 pm to 8 pm – Multipurpose Room 304
  • Commonwealth Community Recreation Centre: 11000 Stadium Road NW – 5 pm to 8 pm – West Gym
