NEW: Curious City at Telus World of Science Now Open


Curious City officially opens to the public at noon on March 23, 2019 at the Telus World of Science.

The brand new kids area is made for children aged 8 and under. Everything in the area is themed as iconic places and landmarks from Edmonton.

Curious City:

  • Fort Edmonton themed play space
  • River Valley themed animal seeking & tunnels
  • Connected treehouses to climb featuring themed areas inspired by: the Muttart Conservatory, the Queen Elizabeth planetarium, the High Level bridge, Walterdale bridge, and the EIA tower
  • Central ball play themed like our downtown skyscrapers
  • The classic EIA airplane is still in the area for pilot practice
  • Water play area
  • Padded baby area with slide

During opening weeks:

  • Book a time slot for Curious City and get your timed entry tickets when paying admission
  • Note that limited tickets will be available each day and will be available on a first come, first serve basis
