Curious City officially opens to the public at noon on March 23, 2019 at the Telus World of Science.
The brand new kids area is made for children aged 8 and under. Everything in the area is themed as iconic places and landmarks from Edmonton.
Curious City:
- Fort Edmonton themed play space
- River Valley themed animal seeking & tunnels
- Connected treehouses to climb featuring themed areas inspired by: the Muttart Conservatory, the Queen Elizabeth planetarium, the High Level bridge, Walterdale bridge, and the EIA tower
- Central ball play themed like our downtown skyscrapers
- The classic EIA airplane is still in the area for pilot practice
- Water play area
- Padded baby area with slide
During opening weeks:
- Book a time slot for Curious City and get your timed entry tickets when paying admission
- Note that limited tickets will be available each day and will be available on a first come, first serve basis
