The Little Gym of Edmonton has been one of our favorite places for a while now. They have classes for kids aged 18 months to 12 years, and are offering Summer Camps for kids aged 3-12.
Why the kids love it:
The instructors are happy to be there – energetic, full of energy and fun ideas to engage the kids, and take the time to pay attention to each individual child in the class. The classes combine play with education, and the kids are always excited to share what they’ve learned, and mine always ask when we can go back before we have even left the building.
Why parents love it:
The classes aren’t just exercise. They are structured play mixed with fun and learning, centered around developing motor skills and building confidence in a fun and engaging atmosphere. Kids learn something positive every time they attend a class.
Summer camps have different themes with specially developed curriculum that combine gymnastics, physical fitness, and play with crafts, arts, snacks, and special events. See more info on their camps HERE.
“Our summer camp programs offer a little bit of everything. They give kids an outlet to have fun and interact with other kids throughout the summer. And parents love that each summer session is fun, action-packed and educational,” said Sherry Wang, Gym Director of The Little Gym of Edmonton.
All camps are held from 9am to 12pm, and 1pm to 4 pm. Flex-passes and full day camps available. For more information, or to register for The Little Gym of Edmonton’s summer camps, call (780)-850-6098.
