The Taste of Edmonton Festival will be back in our city this year from July 19 to July 29, 2018. This is Western Canada’s largest food festival – if you have never been here before, this might be the year you want to go check it out!
Where:
Due to downtown construction, the festival this year will take place in a new area – find them at the Capital Plaza on 99 Ave & 108 Street, downtown Edmonton.
When:
Opening Day: July 18 – 11am – 8pm
July 19-28 – 11am – 11pm
Last day: July 29 – 11am – 8pm

How it works – purchase tickets, then exchange them for food and drink samples at the many vendors on site. There is also a line up of live entertainment every day.
And what can we look forward to for variety in food choices this year? Lots. Just to name a few, you can expect to see vendors from:
-The Melting Pot
-Fairmont Hotel Macdonald
-Italian Centre Shop
-Blue Willow Restaurant
-The Canadian Brew House

Entertainment varies in genre, pick your taste – each night seems to have a different theme, bands play at 6:30, 7:30 & 9PM – all ages are welcome, and the entertainment is free to all. Side note, I heard the Whale and the Wolf is pretty awesome, they are a local Edmonton band, so come down to show your support for them on the 19th! See the full line up HERE.
