Free Teen Fitness in Canada Returns for Summer 2026: GoodLife Fitness Opens Registration for Teens Ages 12–17

Looking for a free summer activity for teens in Edmonton and across Canada? GoodLife Fitness is bringing back its popular Teen Fitness Program for Summer 2026, giving youth aged 12 to 17 free access to GoodLife Fitness Clubs all summer long.

The program is designed to help teens stay active, build confidence, create healthy habits, and enjoy a safe and supportive fitness environment during summer break.

GoodLife Teen Fitness 2026

📅 Program Dates: July 3, 2026 to September 8, 2026

👥 Ages: 12 to 17 years old

💲 Cost: FREE

📍 Available at participating GoodLife Fitness locations across Canada

Registration is now open, and no existing GoodLife membership is required.

What Is the GoodLife Teen Fitness Program?

Since launching in 2010, the GoodLife Teen Fitness Program has helped millions of Canadian teens access free workouts throughout the summer months.

Participants receive access to:

• GoodLife Fitness Clubs across Canada
• Cardio and strength training equipment approved for teen use
• Teen-friendly group fitness classes
• GoodLife On-Demand digital workouts
• A safe and supportive fitness environment

The goal is simple: help teens stay active, improve physical and mental wellness, and develop lifelong healthy habits.

Who Can Register?

The program is available to:

• Teens aged 12 to 17 years old as of July 3, 2026
• Residents of Canada
• Teens registered by a parent or legal guardian

Parents do not need to be GoodLife Members in order to register their teen.

Teen Fitness Program Rules

To help ensure a safe experience for all participants, GoodLife has established specific guidelines for Teen Fitness members.

Workout Hours

Teen Fitness members can work out:

🕗 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

📅 Seven days a week

⏰ Last check-in is at 3:00 PM

Maximum workout time is two hours per day.

What Teens Can Use

Teens have access to approved fitness equipment and many group fitness opportunities designed to support safe exercise and skill development.

What Is Off-Limits?

The following areas and equipment are not available to Teen Fitness participants:

• Barbells and plate-loaded equipment
• Bench press stations
• Squat racks
• Smith machines
• Pools and whirlpools
• Saunas and steam rooms
• Tanning equipment
• Squash and tennis courts
• Recovery and hydro massage areas
• Specialty training spaces including REGYMEN, Craft Boxing, iRiDE, and Hot Yoga
