Picnic Fundraiser for the Stollery by Nitza’s Pizza

Join Nitza’s Pizza for their 4th annual Family Picnic Fundraiser at Bedrock Farms on Saturday, September 8th.

“The event (at Bedrock Farms) is by donation, there will be delicious food, kids activities, live music, a raffle (previously drawn on Saturday, June 30th at Nitza’s Pizza),, silent auction, and a 50/50 draw. Cash, debit and credit will be accepted.” – Nitza’s Pizza

All donations as well as the proceeds from the raffle, silent auction and 50/50 draw will be given to the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation, and to a special girl named Ciara, to help her build a memory garden with her family.

Join the Save on Foods Kids Huddle for any of the home games and sit in the specially designated alcohol-free family fun section. Tickets are $29.50 (plus taxes and fees) for regular season games and are available exclusively at Save On Foods locations throughout the Capital Region.

Families can also visit Brickley’s Knothole Corner family area in and around Gate 2 opens one hour before kickoff for every Edmonton Eskimos home game. This special section includes interactive children’s games, stroller check, face painters, an information booth, a dedicated family merchandise store, family friendly inflatable games and game-specific entertainment during all Eskimos home games. Families can also buy discount tickets to sit in Brickley’s Knothole Corner.

Young Esks fans (12 and under) can also join the Eskimos Kids Club for just $10. Fall Family Day at the U of A Botanic Garden:

Get outside, enjoy the splendor of the season, and spend the day with those you love at the Fall Family Day at the University of Alberta Botanic Garden. There will be plenty of fall-themed crafts to make, seasonal treats and the entire botanic garden to explore! (May we suggest a visit to the new Aga Khan Garden?!?)

A selection of small crafts and hot chocolate will be included with your gate admission, while supplies last. Larger craft projects will be an additional charge, including birdhouses ($10), pumpkin decor ($10) and fall wreaths ($15). You can also make your own baked apple treat for $2.
