Avengers are coming to Edmonton on October 17, 2019 – and so is an evil villain. Spider-Man, Black Widow and Iron Man will make appearances throughout the city, find infinity stones, unarm the villain and take pictures with some lucky Edmontonians who know where to find them.
The characters are arriving in our city to celebrate the opening of the Canadian premiere of the Marvel: Universe of Superheroes exhibit opening at the Telus World of Science in Edmonton starting October 19.
When: Thursday, October 17, 2019
Where & Who:
City Hall, City Room – 1 Sir Winston Churchill Square, Edmonton
- 9:15 am: Mayor Don Iveson will be welcoming Iron Man to the Edmonton at City Hall in the City Room
- 9:30 am: The public are welcome to come down to take photos with Iron man
Kingsway Mall, Main Court – 109 Street & Princess Elizabeth Avenue NW
- 10 am: Public photos with Spider-Man
Scotia Place, Ground Floor Lobby – 10060 Jasper Place, Edmonton
- 10 am: Public photos with Black Widow
At 11:45 am all three characters will start to make their way back to the Telus World of Science.
Final Gathering, Telus World of Science:
All three characters will be available at the Telus World of Science for the final gathering. Entry for public photos free of charge.
When: 1:30 pm to 5 pm
Where: Telus World of Science – 11211-142 Street, Edmonton
