When Shadows Lie: The Next Chapter invites guests into a mystery-filled journey through the historic streets of 1885 Street, where an ancient curse may not be as defeated as everyone once believed.
A Mystery Hidden in Edmonton’s Past
Fort Edmonton Park is known for bringing Edmonton’s history to life, but this experience adds a supernatural twist.
Long ago, terrifying events gripped the town. Over the years, the truth became buried beneath rumours, conflicting stories, and whispered lies. Now, strange occurrences have begun surfacing once again, and visitors are being called upon to uncover what really happened before darkness spreads throughout the village.
Armed with only a lantern and your wits, you’ll explore the streets after hours, uncover hidden relics, solve puzzles, decipher mysterious clues, and encounter unsettling characters as you piece together a story hidden deep within the shadows.
The question is simple:
Was the curse ever truly defeated?

Unlike a traditional escape room, When Shadows Lie takes place throughout the historic streets of Fort Edmonton Park.
Players work together in teams to:

Ticket Information
🎟️ Individual Tickets: $35 plus service fee and GST
🎟️ Group of Four Tickets: $140 plus service fee and GST
Please note that players will be organized into teams of four during gameplay.
When Shadows Lie is the sequel to Where Dark Things Dwell, but previous experience is not required. New players can jump right into the adventure and enjoy the full experience.
