You Can Now Register Your Little One in the 100 Voices Program at the Zoo!

Not only does the 100 Voices Program have an outstanding reputation, but get this – one of their locations for the entire year is at the Edmonton Valley Zoo! We personally chose 100 voices for my youngest’s Pre-K because of it’s fantastic reputation and were not disappointed. Here is some fantastic information to help make the right decision for your little one for the fall:

What is the 100 Voices program?

The 100 Voices program is a faith-based, pre-kindergarten program for children ages 3 to 4. Certified teachers and specialists work together to bring your child’s education to life with a learn through play philosophy.  The program is focused on building social-emotional skills and developing literacy, numeracy and fundamental motor skills (physical literacy.)

Why is it important to offer children Pre-Kindergarten opportunities?

The 100 Voices Pre-Kindergarten program will give opportunities for early intervention for children with identified needs or help provide a well-rounded start to your child’s education. The early years are critical in providing a foundation to our children and intervention at this young age can have a powerful and significant impact that can last a life time.

What is a typical day at the Zoo program like?

Children attending the 100 Voices program at the Edmonton Zoo have the unique opportunity to explore the facilities and learn about and engage with all the little critters that call the zoo home, while interacting with the professional zoo staff (zookeepers, veterinarians and interpreters).

How many 100 Voices programs does Edmonton Catholic Schools offer?

Edmonton Catholic Schools currently offers the 100 Voices program at 10 locations.  The Zoo is our only City of Edmonton Attraction location.
