HI! I’m so glad to have found your blog. As a newbie to Edmonton, it’s been great finding out about family friendly activities. I’m interested in taking my 3 year old son to Old Strathcona this weekend. I see that there are three festivals going on and multiple street closures. Do you have any suggesgtions on what we should bring with us, what may be the best time to attend, and where we should park? I’ve been looking around trying to find some info from other mamas that may have attended festivals in this area before and would have tips on how to best be prepared. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!!
Hi! I just brought weather appropriate gear, something Incase it gets rainy or windy; snacks or drinks for younger kids if they need it and just go! Be prepared to park and have to walk in the Strathcona area this weekend as there is a lot of road closures for construction.
If you’d like other moms opinions feel free to join the “Edmonton Moms Community Group” on Facebook and post any inquiries on there. The moms in the group would be happy to help and give tips and advice 🙂
Have a great weekend!
