STEMcraft – A Minecraft Adventure | Telus World of Science Edmonton
Do you have a kid between the ages of 8 and 13 who loves Minecraft? Then TWOSE has an event made just for them! A Minecraft inspired world awaits you inside of the science center! Explore using a hands on approach as you get to design your own mob and even discover cool Minecraft rocks. Don’t forget to come in costume!

Spirited Away – PJ Party at the IMAX TWOSE
Pick out your favorite pair of pajamas and spend some quality family time at TWOSE! Enjoy a morning together as you watch Spirited Away on the big screen, all while in your jammies! This film will also be featured via the IMAX theatre on Friday, February 10 at 7PM with the original Japanese soundtrack!

Unofficial Galaxies – Southgate Centre
Are you a Star Wars fan or have a Star Wars lover in your life? Then you won’t want to miss what Southgate Centre has to offer! Head on over to the mall to see one of the largest collections of Star Wars memorabilia. This collection has 134 exhibits in 22 scenes. A portion of the ticket sales go towards YOUCAN Youth Services.

Ice Grooves – City Hall Plaza (Cancelled for this weekend)
Sharpen your skates and get ready to bust a move over at Churchill Square with Ice Grooves! Skate and dance along to music played by a live DJ! Skate rentals will be provided by The Edmonton Arts Council on a first come, first served basis. You won’t want to miss this fun winter event!

Winter Wagon Rides – Fort Edmonton Park
Can you hear those sleigh bells jingling? Discover the magic of winter in Edmonton’s scenic River Valley. Admire twinkling lights strung up around Fort Edmonton Park’s historic streets, while bundled up in a festive horse-drawn wagon ride throughout the entire park. Enjoy some hot chocolate to warm up before you continue your tour. Wrap up your tour with a bonfire!

Winter at the Garden – U of A Botanic Garden
Embrace the magic of winter at the Garden! Head on down any Saturday and Sunday from December 16 to February 11 and immerse the entire family in a variety of activities. Try kick sledding, snowshoeing and even cross country skiing. Then, enjoy a hot apple cider or hot chocolate while you warm up around the fire!

Snowshoe and Stargaze – Elk Island National Park
Take part in two unique experiences at Elk Island National Park: snowshoeing and stargazing! A short guided snowshoe hike around the shore of Astotin Lake takes you atop the snow like a snowshoe hare while stars twinkle overhead. With a park interpreter, settle in next to a campfire and look up into a sky full of twinkling stars and learn to navigate the night sky of the Beaver Hills Dark Sky Preserve.

Laser Taylor Swift
