Edmonton Corn Maze
Visit the Edmonton Corn Maze! Just Southwest of the Henday – so much more than just the maze. Jumpy pillows, outdoor games, feed the animals, use the spud guns & more.
Booking entry times online is required to control attendance capacity.
University of Alberta Botanic Garden
Check out the Botanic Gardens with the kids. Explore the beautiful gardens, waterfalls and more. Kids admission is FREE until October 12!
Admission is by advance registration only.
Edmonton Valley Zoo
This is a great time to visit the zoo! Did you know it’s open 364 days a year? The zoo is operating at 50% capacity so there is lots of space to walk around, see the animals and get some fresh air.
Booking an entry time is highly recommended.
EPL Makerspace
Check out your local Edmonton Public Library! We really like the new children’s space at the Stanley Milner library downtown – now open. Book your private time in the Makerspace area where a staff member does a one-on-one with your family to explore the robots, Lego, crafts and more (kids pick what they want to do with the time!)
Pre-booking of the Makerspace is required.
See a Movie
Movie theatres are now open! Many are releasing Halloween themed movies like Hocus Pocus and the Harry Potter series.
Pre-booking of your seats is often required so the theatre can make sure social distancing is maintained during showings.
Royal Alberta Museum
Visit the Alberta Royal Museum with the family. Rich in Alberta history – breathtaking displays are available for viewing and learning. The children’s area is closed for now but there are multiple galleries still open for visits.

Vegreville Corn Maze

Elk Island Park
Check out Elk Island Park with the kids. Take a hike, a scenic drive and observe wildlife!
Jurassic Forest
Check out the dinosaurs at Jurassic Forest with the kids. Walk the paths of the forest to see over 50 life size anamatronic dinosaurs and exhibits. Located just north of Gibbons.
Telus World of Science
Visit the Ripley’s Believe it or Not exhibit or grab tickets for an IMAX movie. Masks are required and timed tickets are required.
