Rodeo Week!!
Get into the western spirit before the rodeo! It will look like you’ve stepped back in time in the Wild West in Edmonton this week, dust off your boots and be sure to wear your cowboy hat, the festivities kick off for Rodeo week September 28th and goes until October 6th, 2024. Â
You can find high roller barrel racing, team roping, stage shows, a Canadian country trade show, tailgate parties. A Chili cook off and a kid zone!! You can see a schedule of events through link. Â

Canadian finals Rodeo (CFR)Â Â Â
Let’s welcome back the CFR to Edmonton and help them celebrate 50 years!! Â
The Rodeo takes place at Rogers Place, Rough Stock Events include, Bareback, Saddle Bronc, Bull riding, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Tie-Down Roping, Barrel Racing and Breakaway Roping. You can open link to see the contestant lineup and schedule of events.Â

Pancakes with the Chamber Â
The Edmonton Chamber of Commerce and Explore Edmonton are joining together to co-host a Pancake breakfast. Head down to the Fan Park in the Ice District to enjoy breakfast, live music, dance lessons and roping demonstrations!! Â

Are you ready for a spooktacular Halloween? Join them for their annual Kiwi’s Haunted House! Go to the nursery and see the trail system and growing house transformed for this eerily good time! Offering child friendly time slots!Â

Cost: Admission is $8.00 per person, children under 8 are free; or $4 per person for general admission purchased on site if you bring a food bank donation. Tickets will include a small commemorative flashlight. Priority passes available $15.00 per person to skip the line on busiest nights! Pre-purchase your tickets online or you can get them at the door! A portion of every ticket sold will be going to the Parkland Food bank! Donations will also be accepted at the door! Â
Smokey Lake Pumpkin Festival  Â
Take a short road trip and start a new family tradition every autumn at the Smokey Lake Pumpkin Festival! This is a jam-packed festival with the fun starting on Friday evening with a walk through the corn maze, The Pumpkin Fair Kick off, The Pumpkin showcase Market and a MIDWAY!! A Pancake breakfast starts the festivities on Saturday, you can then head to a classic car show, Pumpkin Social, Museum, Ukrainian Showcase, Farmers market, Food Trucks, Beer Gardens and a Pumpkin weigh-off and Pumpkin Drop!! So much fun and activities all weekend long. Â
