The annual Deep Freeze Festival is here in Edmonton this weekend! With a fantastic weather forecast, you’re going to want to check this one out with the family. Fun activities to do all day, and fireworks in the evening.

When: This weekend – January 12 and 13, 2019
Time: Saturday 12 pm to 10 pm & Sunday 12 pm to 6 pm
Where: 118 avenue, between 90 street and 94 street, Edmonton
Things to do & see while you’re there:
- Street hockey tournament
- Authentic lumberjack skill test: Buck sawing and Axe Throwing
- Fun and interactive games including: Xs & Os, bean bag toss & curling
- Snowshoeing (for kids aged 7+) From Noon to 6pm: 93 Street to 94 Street
- Horse and wagon rides (From Noon to 5:45 both days on 92 street)
- ICE SLIDE: behind the Community Hall, 9210-118 avenue from Noon to 10pm
- Clown performances from Noon to 6pm
- The TROLLSONS – a magical and comedic family of Trolls from the Canadian forest! Look for them from Noon to 6pm both days
- Watch for Stiltwalkers
- Odin’s Ravens Viking Encampment – both days at noon
- Dutch Ice Scultors
- Learn about Fur Trading with Jasper National Park & Elk Island National Park – on the street at Noon both days
