Ice on Whyte Festival:
Ice on Whyte is back! The festival is running over two weekends from Thursday to Sunday: January 24-27 & January 31-February 3, 2019.
The main attraction is the ice carving competition, but there is so much more to see and do while you’re there. See the Ice on Whyte website for the full schedule for each day. (Link below)
Things to do with the kids:
- Try ice carving yourselves! Even the kids can take part (inside the inflatable igloo)
- L’il & Big Chipper classes
- Beef Stew-off
- Food Trucks
- Kids’ Play Area
- Family Skating
- Crafts
- Live Music
So much more to see and do – amazing sculptures, lights, dancing, and outdoor games are planned for all days they are running.
Cost:
- Adults: $7
- Kids age 2 to 13: $4
- Kids under 2 are FREE
You can buy tickets online or at the gate.
Times:
- Thursdays and Fridays 2 pm to 10 pm
- Saturdays and Sundays 10 am to 10 pm
