The Snow Valley Aerial Park in Edmonton is Open For The 2019 Season

The Snow Valley Aerial Park in Edmonton has officially opened for the 2019 season. Haven’t been there before? Get the run down here.

When & Where:

The Snow Valley Aerial Park is open from the long weekend of May until the October Thanksgiving weekend.

Hours: 

  • May 18 to June 27 – Thursdays & Fridays 3pm to 9pm; Saturdays & Sundays 9am to 9pm
  • June 28 to September 1 – Everyday from 9am to 9pm (Monday to Sunday)
  • September 2 to end of season: TBA

Where: Snow Valley – 13204-Rainbow Valley Road (45 Ave NW)

On 119 Avenue just off of the Whitemud Freeway

Bringing Younger Kids:

  • Minimum height requirement is 100cm
  • The ground level is dedicated to kids aged 3-6
  • Kids 100cm-125cm tall have access to the kids ground level, and their chaperone is free
  • Kids 125cm to 140cm tall have full tower access but must have a chaperone over 14 & over 140cm tall with them *inquire about chaperone pricing*
  • One chaperone is required for every three participants on each level

What to Expect:

  • Snowboard balance bridge

  • Coal Car
  • Picnic tables on the top deck (with a fantastic view!)

Games are color coded similar to ski runs on the hill to show difficulty. You will find green, blue and black. Feeling brave? There is a black-coded Ninja Warrior course!

Expect to take 2 to 3 hours to go through the entire course, including Ground School.

  • Kids course chaperone – Free
  • Under 140cm General Admission – $24
  • Over 140cm – $37

It is best to book a time online to guarantee your time. This is an activity for families, kids or adults on their own. The Snow Valley Aerial park is the only one of its kind in Canada, and is definitely something worth checking out. Happy climbing, everyone!
