The Ice Castles are officially back in Edmonton! Opening day is January 3, 2020.
Aside from the breathtaking design in itself that seems to bring fairy tales to life and many other things to enjoy, our favorites are color changing ice wall and the famous icy slides fun for all ages! Stick around for the fire performers on Fridays and Saturdays from 7pm to 10pm.

- Monday: 4pm to 9pm
- Tuesday: CLOSED
- Wednesday: 4pm to 9pm
- Thursday: 4pm to 9pm
- Friday: 4pm to 10pm
- Saturday: 11am to 10pm
- Sunday: Noon to 8pm
Colored lights shine throughout the castle after dark.
Tickets:
Weekdays: Adults (ages 12+) $13.99, Kids (ages 4-11) $10.99
Weekends: Adults (ages 12+) $17.99, Kids (ages 4-11) $12.99
Children aged 3 and under are free.
Standby tickets are also for sale (but not guaranteed) for a couple dollars extra – it is cheaper to pre-buy on the website.

Tips for taking the kids:
- Bring a sled, not a stroller!
- Dress warm and in extra layers, even mild days can seem a bit cooler when you’re outside for a long time
- Wear boots. You’ll be walking on crushed ice and snow, boots are definitely best
- Make sure you purchase tickets before heading out: this is the only way to guarantee entry
- You’ll want to take pictures! You can use the tag #icecastles on social media if you’d like!
- Restroom facilities are located near the entrances (not inside)
You don’t need to print out your tickets, you can use the QR code on your phone for entry, as you will be emailed your tickets after purchase.
