The Flying Canoe Volant Festival is Back in Edmonton for 2022; March 1-5

The Flying Canoe Volant Festival is back in Edmonton March 1-5 nightly from 6 pm to 10 pm, and you might want to check it out with the kids. Loosely based on the legend of the Flying Canoe, French-Canadian, First Nation & Métis traditions, the festival is an evening adventure held in the Mill Creek Ravine for 5 days (check out the illuminated trails!)

This year: The Edmonton Ski Club is hosting the iconiv downhill Canoe races on March 4 & 5.

Where:

  • March 1-5 – Mill Creek Ravine, Ecole Rutherford School Yard – 87 Avenue & 95 Street
  • March 4-5 – Edmonton Ski Club – 9613 96 Avenue NW

  • Tubing (booking in advance is recommended; walk-up depends on availability)

Pre registration is not required to come down to enjoy the illuminated pathways and live entertainment on site – just come on down!
