The Flying Canoe Volant Festival is back in Edmonton March 1-5 nightly from 6 pm to 10 pm, and you might want to check it out with the kids. Loosely based on the legend of the Flying Canoe, French-Canadian, First Nation & Métis traditions, the festival is an evening adventure held in the Mill Creek Ravine for 5 days (check out the illuminated trails!)
This year: The Edmonton Ski Club is hosting the iconiv downhill Canoe races on March 4 & 5.
