The Children’s Gallery at the Royal Alberta Museum is Now Open

The children’s gallery at the Royal Alberta Museum in Edmonton is officially open again and you’re going to want to check it out with the kids.

When/Where:

Location: Royal Alberta Museum – 9810-103a Ave

When:

Museum hours are Wednesday to Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm (Closed Mondays & Tuesdays)

What to expect:

  • Free play & exploration
  • Real objects, tools & materials
  • Learning through play with multiple interactive displays
  • Toddler play area – build a tower, have tummy time, imaginative play etc in a safe space
  • Hands on displays
  • Community gallery
  • & more

For the time being, the Big Machine, Sand Table, Dig Pit and Makerspace, remain closed.

Admission:

  • Kids 6 & under are always free!
  • Youth age 7-17: $10
  • Adult: $21
  • Senior: $14
  • Family – includes 2 adults + up to 6 children: $50
