Support Local With Must-Haves For Babies & Tots That Feed Your Bub, Not Your Furniture

Feed your kids, not your furniture: That’s the motto with Quark! They are a Vancouver-based company with the coolest and innovative must-have baby care products you need if you are starting to feed your little one.

And guys – they have some amazing recipes and instructions for making baby food at home on their website that anyone can access for free, here.

We had the opportunity to test out some of their top-selling products ourselves, and here is what we think:

  • Quook Baby Food Processor: This is an all-in-one machine that makes cooking your own baby food an easy, one-stop, less mess, quick process. It defrosts, steams, blends and it has sanitizing and self-cleaning features as well. Yes, please!

  • Feedi Silicone Dining Set: This set isn’t going anywhere when you baby tugs at the sides. The bib catches most of the food (and drool) mess and the plate + bowl have suction grips at the bottom to ensure it stays put. The utensils are made of silicone so your babe’s mouth wont be touching anything hard or sharp. and – the bowl curves upward on one end, acting as a spill guard 🙂

  • Fruuti Fruit Feeder: Every house with a baby needs one of these imo. Put fruits and other soft foods inside for baby to eat on their own. This one comes with three size feeders, is easy to fill and super easy to rinse clean! Way more sanitary than the mesh styles AND it can go in the dishwasher. Easy and fun for baby to hold themselves.

  • Chiill Silicone Freezer Tray: If you’re freezing baby food, this is a must. Made of silicone, so it pops back out easily when frozen (and you can thaw it in the food processor they carry!) Bonus: it has 7 individual prep pods that make it easy to get your baby meal prep done for the whole week.

  • Storii Food Containers: Three-pack of containers with removable ice packs – these are so amazing for on-the-go! They clip closed for an air-tight, leak-proof seal.

  • Foxii Silicone Corner Protectors: Protect your tots from sharp corners, and you’d better believe it’s super cute 😉

Getting started with solid foods can be intimidating. Luckily your little one will show you when they are ready for the transition. We’ve rounded up a few things to watch out for:

  • They can sit up with minimal support
  • They can hold head upright and steady
  • They are starting to show interest in food
  • They start imitating eating behaviours
  • Their appetite has increased
  • They’ve lost the tongue-thrust reflex
  • Their hand-eye coordination is better

The Quark brand was created by parents, for parents – with babies in mind. They have top quality products at comparable prices, plus you’d be supporting a local family with any purchase. Get more information/shop their product line here.
