Who are the Camps & Clubs for?
Children ages 6-12 are welcome in the YMCA programs
The programs are great for helping children thrive emotionally developmentally and physically while out of school.
Camps are a full week packed with super fun and engaging activities for kids. During their week at the YMCA, positive behaviour is encouraged through a reward system: your kids are able to collect “value beads” when they demonstrate positive behaviours such as friendship, caring, honesty, diversity, social inclusion, responsibility, respect, leadership and excellence.
Camps and Club themes include:
- Nature-lovers
- Art enthusiasts
- Science explorers
- Water bugs
- Sports-fans and more!
Camp activities and themes focus on your child’s interests and every week is different, so you can sign your kid up for multiple weeks of camps that will keep them excited and experiencing new things all Summer long.

The health and safety of your children is of the upmost importance to the YMCA
- All provincial health guidelines and requirements are being followed
- Only designated caregivers are allowed to pick-up students from camp and must provide a government-issued ID at the time of pick-up.
- Parents can have peace of mind when dropping their kids off at YMCA programs
Staff members
Every staff member is specifically selected for their ability to work with children of all backgrounds and abilities. All YMCA staff complete:
- Safety and emergency training
- First aid
- CPR
- WHMIS
- Behaviour management
- Physical literacy
- And all have a passing a police security clearance.
