Sensory Sundays at the Royal Alberta Museum: Details & Securing Your Spot

Sensory Sunday:

The Royal Alberta Museum hosts “Sensory Sunday” where gallery settings are adjusted so people with sensory needs and their families can visit the museum.

When/Where:

Location: Royal Alberta Museum – 9810-103a Ave

When: Scheduled on select Sundays before the museum is open to the public, from 8am to 10am.

Good to Know:

  • The next Sensory Sunday is on May 12th.
  • Preregistration for Sensory Sundays is required. You can find the link to register your family here.
  • Payment is not needed to register; general admission prices apply upon arrival.
  • Sensory kits are available at the front desk for visits during regular hours. These include noise reduction headphones, sunglasses, fidgets and a timer.

Sensory Sundays are hosted by RAM on a regular basis, but check their website for availability of the next event, and for their schedule.
