School if Witchcraft and Wizardry
Let’s Talk Science UAlberta is back with the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry: Science is Magic for the 7th year in a row. This event is FREE, but tickets are required for entry. The initial release of tickets completely sold out in just one day, but another waive of tickets will be available at 7am on October 17. Get them here.
Location: Katz Pharmacy Building at the University of Alberta
When: Saturday, October 27, from 10am to 4pm
Last year there were live animals, hands-on science activities, demonstrations, organizers and guests in full costumes, and more. This year is set to be even bigger, with Magical Beast themed classes added in addition to:
Care of Magical Creatures, Charms, Muggle Studies, Potions, Defense Against the Dark Arts and many more!
If your kids are Harry Potter fans, you won’t want to miss out this year. Hopefully enough tickets will be released so more people can attend – either way, see you online at 7am on Wednesday!
