Santa’s Arrival Celebrations in Edmonton: Our Ultimate List of When and Where to Find Him, 2018

The magic that is Santa Clause is set to arrive all over Edmonton this week! Arrival dates and welcome parties stretch throughout the next couple of weeks, and we have the times and locations! Check out our ultimate list of Santa arrivals in & around YEG here:

St. Albert Centre

Celebrations for Santa’s arrival at St. Albert Centre will include live music, crafts, a coloring contest to win Oilers tickets, and a free 5×7 photo (one per family)
When: Wednesday, November 14, 2018 – 5 pm to 8 pm
Where: St. Albert Centre, 375 St. Albert Trail, St. Albert

Bonnie Doon

Santa arrives at Bonnie Doon Centre at 11am on Saturday, November 17, but activities will start at 10:30! Entertainment will include a stilt walker, Christmas music piano and caroling. Small gifts for kids who come visit, and keep an eye out this year – different princesses, Snow Queens, and Spider guys will be joining Santa this year – the character line up will change each week. Where: Bonnie Doon Centre, 82 Avenue & 83 Street, Edmonton

West Edmonton Mall

Santa arrives at West Edmonton Mall on Saturday, November 17. Find him on the Centre Stage and enjoy holiday activities like: cookie decorating, hot chocolate stand, petting zoo, coloring station, letter to Santa and more.

Santa Arrives: Saturday, November 17, 2018 – 10 am to 4 pm
Where: West Edmonton Mall, Level One Phase I, 8882 – 170 Street NW, Edmonton

Kingsway Mall

Santa’s official welcoming party is on Saturday, November 17 at 11am. Celebrate with treats, freebies, and enter to win some great prizes.

Santa Arrives: Saturday, November 17, 2018 – 11 am
Where: Kingsway Mall, 109 Street and Kingsway, Edmonton

Southgate Centre

Santa Party! Southgate Centre: from 11am to 1pm. Santa arrives at 11:30 and the first 200 families get a free 5×7 photo with him! Stay for the holiday activities: music, holiday crafts, balloon animals, treats, caroling, and a Nutcracker performace by the Ukranian Shumka dancers!

Santa Arrives: Saturday, November 17, 2018 – 11 am to 1 pm
Where: Southgate Centre, 5015 – 111 Street, Edmonton

Cabelas

Come down to Cabelas for a free photo with Santa, and free holiday crafts for the kids. Plus, the first 100 kids that come to see Santa Monday-Thursday from 5-7pm will receive a free plush toy. Santa’s arrival is on Saturday, November 17, and will be the official unveiling of the Winter Wonderland. Expect: prizes, give aways, crafts and photos.

Londonderry Mall

Santa & Mrs. Clause will arrive at Londonderry mall on Sunday, November 18. They are set to be there for 10:30am, and Albert’s Restaurant will be providing a pancake breakfast to celebrate! Breakfast will be provided in exchange for donations, which will benefit the KidsCottage foundation. Plus, the first 200 kids to arrive will receive goodie bags!

Santa Arrives: Sunday, November 18, 2018 – 10:30 am
Where: Londonderry Mall Food Court, 1 Londonderry Mall, Edmonton: 66 Street & 137 Avenue

Sherwood Park Mall

Opening day of Santa activities in the Sherwood Park mall is on Sunday, November 18. Crafts with elves from 11am-1pm, Santa will be there from Noon to 4pm, and a special guest, The Grinch will join the fun from 1pm to 4pm!

Santa Arrives: Sunday, November 18, 2018 – 12 pm to 4 pm

Mill Woods Town Centre

The arrival of Santa will be celebrated at Mill Woods Town Centre with a Christmas Parade! Santa and his friends, Peppa Pig and George will march in the parade, followed by live cultural performances, enter to win prizes, and the first 50 families registered will receive a free 5×7 Santa photo.

Santa Arrives: Saturday, November 24, 2018 – 11:30 am to 2 pm
