River tubing & floating is so much fun! And a great way to beat the Summer heat. Before heading out, be sure to:
- Contact the location to make sure it is open & check operating hours
- Pack towels, water bottles & sun screen
- If you have water shoes or a water-proof bag for your things, grab those too!
- Your own tube, if you have it

Where You Can Tube/Float
Rent a tube or bring yours along to ride down the river. There is a beach area, park and concession stand close by – contact them before hand to reserve a rental/shuttle service if needed.
Distance from Edmonton: Approx 1.5 hours
Book a float time before – if you are using their shuttle service, you also need to rent their tubes.
Distance from Edmonton: 30 minutes
Enjoy a slow, 3.5 hour float. Rent a tube or bring your own. Book your time slot online

Whitecourt River Slides, Rotary Park
Bring your own tubes (rentals not available) – river slides are about a minute long each – go down and walk back up to do it all again!
