Yup, you can get on a train to the “North Pole” to pick up Santa! This magical experience is a real one-hour train ride and includes live entertainment from actors based on characters from the hit movie Polar Express, hot chocolate, cookies and an individual greeting and small gift for each child from Santa Claus himself!
Several options for tickets, but these tend to sell out quickly every year – book yours sooner than later! Two location options available.
Note that every train ride in both locations typically sell out completely – so get your tickets sooner than later!
Polar Express™ Stettler
When: Various dates throughout December, 2023
Where: Alberta Prairie Railway Excursions, 47 Avenue, Stettler (approx 2 hours drive from Edmonton)

Good to know: There are no bathrooms aboard this train
Polar Express™ Aspen Crossing
When: Various dates throughout December, 2023
Where: Aspen Crossing, Mossleigh, AB (less than 1 hour Southeast of Calgary – approx 4 hours from Edmonton)
Tickets: Tickets for this train ride vary based on cart and are only sold this year in pairs (2) or in groups of 4
