If you waited in the hours-long line at West Edmonton Mall last year for the Build-A-Bear pay your age day, you know how much interest there was in this deal at the popular stuffy-creating workshop.
For 2019, the company has made some changes with the intention of creating the best guest experience possible. They are still hosting the pay-your-age event, but in two new ways.
Count Your Candles Contest & Sweepstakes:
The pay-your-age deal is available, but only to those whose names are drawn for tickets. Details:
- Build-A-Bear is taking entries for the tickets until June 16, 2019
- To enter:
- Sign up for a Bonus Club account on the Build-A-Bear website
- Complete a birthday profile
- Enter for a chance to win a pay-your-age ticket
- Winners will be notified by email with their redemption window (which will either be June 24-June 26 or June 26-June 28) Those who win tickets for the experience must go in-store to create their “pay-your-age” friend within the dates shown on their tickets

Pay-Your-Age in Your Birthday Month:
The birthday-themed bear is always available at the Build-A-Bear locations. If it is your child’s birthday month, they can come in to a Build-A-Bear workshop at any time during their birthday month and pay their age to build this style of bear. (Regular price: $14)
