I recently had the chance to check out the new Granville Bambini Childcare Centre and WOW.
Places like this are going to change the way we are offered childcare here in Alberta. My honest opinion on this place is that I want to have more children just so I can send them here. Not just because of the gorgeous design of every single room, but the programming and services they offer the families. They offer private tours for parents; you need to see this place for yourself in person to truly appreciate it.
Location:
20930-62 Ave NW, Edmonton (Granville, Southwest Edmonton)
The room age groupings:
There are multiple rooms designed for specific children’s ages. The centre has spaces for kids aged 1-12. Their programs are children led so each child is encouraged to play, imagine and have fun in the ways they choose. Every room has large, bright windows and half-walls or glass doors so the kids can see into the main space and outside with Swedish minimalized design in neutral colors to not over-stimulate – but the details are so fun! From lights that reflect to look like playful balls hanging from the ceiling to hidden puppy dog faces in the cabinets, every detail was made for the kids to enjoy.
- Room A – 12 months to 18 months (12 max)
- Room B – 19 months to 2 years (18 max)
- Room C – 2 to 3 years (18 max)
- Room D – 3 to 3 1/2 years (16 max)
- Room E – 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 (24 max)
- Room F – 4 1/2 to 5 (20 max)
- Room G – Kindergarten – grade 2 (30 max)
- Room H – Grade 3 – 6 (30 max)
Workshops/Sessions for parents:
Once your child is registered with Bambini, parents gain access to complimentary (free!) workshops and sessions to support them in their role as parents. Workshops/sessions include:
- Stress management
- How to handle picky eaters
- Infant massage
- Emotional literacy
- Family yoga
- & more
They also have an amazing Reggio-inspired piazza at the heart of the centre for kids to engage in group activities like yoga, meditation, art projects, dance and more. The play yard of the centre is nature based with natural wood elements and multiple surfaces for kids to run, move and play – and they even have a child-size climbing wall!
And guys – they have a chef in house that creates healthy snacks and meals for the kids right inside the centre. This unique kitchen even has child-size counters and sinks as they plan to host parent-child cooking classes in the near future.
Prices are comparable to other daycare centres around the city and they accept subsidy. Book a private tour to check out the centre yourself here.

All opinions in this blog and the review is 100% my own, but this post was sponsored by the Bambini Learning Group.
This place sounds amazing! I am a life coach and I work mainly with women who’ve experienced trauma. I will definitely be recommending this place for them to take their kids and to take advantage of those workshops. Thanks for sharing!
