There is always something amazing going on in Banff – this Winter is no exception! And who says you can’t have fun after dark, anyway?? The newest family friendly experience to come to Sulphur Mountain is Nightrise.
Where: The Banff Gondola, atop Sulphur Mountain – 100 Mountain Ave, Banff
When: Every night from December 2, 2021 to March 12, 2022
What to expect:
This experience includes stories and teachings from the Stoney Nakoda Nation, who have been in the area a very long time and helped guide settlers to land and mountain trails.
- After-dark ride up the Gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain
- Story telling and lights inside the Gondola cart
- Light shows – both inside & outside
- Multimedia effects
- Music
- Video projections
- Fire pits outside to warm up next to
- Multiple floors to explore indoors
- Family friendly restaurant with buffet-style dinner & deserts
Ticket prices
- Adult (age 16+) – $56
- Child (age 6-15) – $28
- Kids 5 & under – free
Pro tip: Dress for the weather + an extra layer. Scarves are always a good idea 🙂
