Quote from the Edmonton Catholic Education Centre: Our Lady of Mount Carmel teachers weave STEM into all of their classes, not just science. For example, one parent said she watched her child code his mini bot through a series of student dioramas in Language Arts. The goal was to “visit” and explain three of the protagonists’ conflicts and his dynamic characteristics. This example of art fused with STEM and storytelling is the engaging approach to learning that makes kids excited about school.

This school looks awesome. I understand they have a really wide catchment area because of the extra special programming. I also know that green stem is for everyone, not an elective, so even the kids that leave for sports in the afternoon benefit from the GreenSTEM program.
