Royal Alberta Museum Mammoth Pass

A Mammoth pass gives someone admission to the Royal Alberta Museum for an entire year.

Glow Edmonton

GLOW has a new (and bigger!) location this year: the Edmonton Expo Centre. On until January 4, this place really is something to see. Lots of things for the kids to do including play areas – and live entertainment, food and beautiful light displays for the whole family to enjoy.

Cost: Tickets are $14.99 to $22.99 per person. Family passes for 2 adults & 3 kids is $74.99

Enjoy Light Festival

The Enjoy Light Festival is running until January 5 at the Enjoy Centre in St. Albert. Gorgeous light displays, food, kids area, train and more. Great for a family night out – and parking is free!

Punch Pass to Millenium Place

Millenium place in Sherwood Park is one of our favorite rec centres. Spend a day there or get a 10 visit punch-pass (for the price of 9 visits). Admission for the day gives you access to the wave pool, play area, skating rink, gymnasium and more.

Cost:

  • Kids 2-12: regular admission – $5.50; 10-visit-punch-pass – $49.50
  • Youth 13-17: regular admission – $8; 10-visit-punch-pass – $72
  • Adults regular admission is $9.75 if you are swimming or skating with the kids (or using the awesome gym!)

*Kids under 2 are free! Monthly passes are decently priced with no contract/commitment. Punch passes are available at the front desk; Millennium place is located in Sherwood Park.

Snow Tubing Day at Sunridge

Get in on the fun and join the kids for a snowtubing day at Sunridge Ski Hill. There is even a tube lift, so you never have to climb up the hill. Times need to be booked in advance and helmets are available for rent as well.

Cost: $20 per rider with optional $7 helmet rentals

*Note that kids need to be both 7 years old and at least 4 ft tall to go

Toddler Time at WEM

Toddler time at West Edmonton Mall is Mondays through Thursdays from September 3 to June 19. You can get a Toddler Time pass valid for any (and as many!) days at they would like to go. After just a couple visits in a year, the pass has more than paid for itself.

Cost:

  • Galaxyland pass – $80
  • Waterpark pass – $80
  • Multiplay park pass – $150

*The pass admits one toddler and one chaperone!

IMAX Movie Fanatic Pass for Telus World of Science

IMAX passes are now available for 2020. The passholder is able to watch unlimited IMAX documentary films at the Telus World of Science for an entire year. They also get $5 Hollywood movies, discounts on special events and more.
