There is a “First Riders Day” event this August for first-time bus riders that teaches kids how to ride the bus safely and with confidence. The event allows children and their parents to become familiar with the bus riding experience before school starts. Registration is required but the event is free.
Who it’s For
Any student taking the bus for the first time, or who needs a refresher. This includes:
- Pre-Kindergarten children
- Kindergarten and Grade 1 students
- Grade 7 students transitioning to ETS
Where:
Northlands Park – 112 Avenue & Wayne Gretzky Drive (East/South lot)
When:
Thursday, August 22
Afternoon:
- 1 pm
- 1:30 pm
- 2 pm
- 2:30 pm
Evening:
- 5:30 pm
- 6 pm
- 6:30 pm
- 7 pm
How to Register:
The event is free, but you do need to pre-register (here) by August 15 to secure your spot.
