LCDS is an independent early learning program serving children ages 3–5 since 1972, known for preparing confident, capable learners for kindergarten and beyond. Our warm, engaging program blends a structured, school-like routine with play-based learning, following the Alberta Education Kindergarten Curriculum while supporting academics, social development, and speech and language growth. Children learn in a mixed-age classroom, guided independently each day by a passionate team that includes a certificated teacher and a qualified educational assistant. As a parent cooperative, LCDS fosters a strong community through family involvement, which helps to keep fees manageable while offering meaningful insight into your child’s early education.
