Summer Nights at the Drive-In:
Looking for a unique & fun thing to do with the kids? St. Albert Centre is hosting two different drive-in movie nights this August – and there is more going on than just the films.
Scheduled Movies:
- Friday, August 16: Wonder Park
- Friday, August 23: How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World
Location:
St. Albert Centre – 375 St Albert Trail, St. Albert
Cost:
$10 per car and $2 per child to play in the Kid Zone. Proceeds benefit the International Children’s Festival.
Kid Zone: Fun for the kids while they wait for the movie to start – bouncy castles, balloon artist, glitter tattoo artist and more. Runs from 6 pm to 9 pm on scheduled movie nights.
Good to Know:
- Front row is for lawn chair seating
- Enter via the down ramp on Bellerose Drive
- Tickets/donations will be collected by staff as you arrive
- Parking starts around 5 pm – arrive early for your choice of parking!
- Swag bags for the first 175 vehicles (or lawn chair walk-ons) have coupons from retailers that include a $10 voucher to use in the food court, popcorn and candy!
- Movies start at dusk, usually around 9:15 pm
You can park and then go inside of the shopping centre to walk around, get something to eat, or head right over to the Kid Zone while you wait for the movie to start. \Scoop & Roll will also be set up on site for your ice cream needs, should they arise. This is the 13th year running the drive-in movies and they are always a great success with a wonderful cause.

I saw this advertised and thought I’d be interested. I’ve never heard of either of the films mentioned. i don’t have children but I do like some well known childrens films. Is there any chance that better known(classic??) films could be found for next year?
