Deep Freeze: A Byzantine Winter Festival – Arts on the Ave

Arts on the Ave is back with the Deep Freeze Festival and this year, they are featuring a “Under the Toad Stools” theme! Head on over and enjoy a FREE winter celebration that will take you back to Alberta’s roots. Learn about and appreciate a variety of cultures that contribute to Alberta Avenue District including French Canadian, Indigenous, Ukrainian and more!

Bask in the warmth of cultural delights such as live music, delicious treats and artistic creations. Grab a mint tea and some bannock and spend some time around the toasty fire or even take part in a street hockey match. This all ages event promises something for everyone!

Although there is no admission fee for this event, Arts on the Ave strongly encourage donations that can be made via their website. Perhaps purchase some awesome merch or even take part in the 50/50!

Parking is available along the north and south side of 118 Avenue.
