Holiday events are popping up all over the city! What’s better than a fun holiday themed event with the kids? A free one or three. Northgate Centre is hosting free Christmas themed family fun events, and you’re going to want to check them out with the kids.

Free Family Events at Northgate
Santa’s Arrival Celebration:
When: Saturday, November 30 – 11 am | 4 pm
Things to do for free:
- First 250 people in line will get a free 5×7 photo with Santa
- Kids Craft Workshop: kids will be able to make & take home their very own Grinch tree! Give it as a gift or keep it for you own home
- Balloon fairies will be making balloon animals for the kids
- Free glitter tattoos for kids and adults
- Clown entertainment – Mugsy the Clown will be performing a comedy act, juggling, performing magic tricks, unicycling & more
- Live (& roving) entertainment by Dan the One Man Elf – sing along with him to holiday classics and kids Christmas songs
Making Gingerbread Houses:
When: Saturday, December 14 | 11 am to 2 pm
Things to do for free:
- Kids (12 and under) who come by will receive a free pre-assembled gingerbread house to decorate on site any way they’d like
- Kids can choose from a buffet of colorful candies to choose from to decorate their houses

Build Your Own Stuffed Animal:
When: Saturday, December 21 | 11 am to 2 pm
Things to do for free:
- Kids (12 and under) who come by can build their own personalized stuffed animal for free
- Keep the stuffy or give it away as a gift!

Find Santa:
Santa will be at Northgate Centre for paid photos at the following times
November 30 to December 14: Weekends only
- Saturdays: 11 am to 4 pm
- Sundays: Noon to 4 pm
December 19 to December 22: Daily
- Thursday & Friday: 11 am to 4 pm & 5 pm to 8 pm
- Saturday: 11 am to 4 pm
- Sundays: 12 pm to 4 pm
