Free Comic Book Day:
On the first Saturday of May every year, people across North America celebrate free comic book day. This year it falls on May 4, 2019. This is a fun opportunity for families to visit their local comic book shops and explore different genres of comics. They are by no means restricted to kids and the point of the give away is to encourage a new generation of readers, to create more fans, and show people of all ages the variety available and how comic books are an ageless pass time. You might even get to meet some creators!
