From Dinosaurs to Robot Themes: TWOS Summer Camp Registrations Open Now

Telus World of Science Summer adventure camps are now open for registration! This year, they have over 20 themes to choose from for kids ranging from age 4 to 14.

The Science Centre is famous for activities that are both fun and educational for kids, and the Summer camps are no exception. See the available half & full day camps for each age group here:

Half Day Camps:

Half day camps will include play time in the brand new Curious City section for younger kids upstairs!

Time: 9am – 12pm or 1pm – 4pm

Ages: 4 to 5

Themes: 

  • Atoms: Colours, Robots, Birds, Chemistry and Sound
  • Quarks: Bugs, Astronauts, Dinosaurs, Matter, Plants
  • Volts: Reptiles and Amphibians, Space, Magnets, Bubbles and Boats
  • Watts: Marine Animals, Patterns, Building, Aviation and the Human Body

Full Day Camps:

Time: 9am to 4pm

Daily Activities:

 

  • Daily Gallery visits
  • Watch a show in the Ziedler Dome
  • Watch an IMAX Movie
  • Demonstrations on the science stage
  • One- hour lunch with outside play (weather dependent)

Ages 6-7 Camps:

  • Animal Trackers
  • Dino Diggers
  • Junior Scientists

Ages 8-9 Camps:

  • Kit Hacking (NEW)
  • Astronaut Adventure
  • Gadgets & Gizmos
  • Science Wizardry
  • Stop-Motion Animation 1.0

Ages 9-10 Camps:

  • Sci-Bots 1.0

Ages 10-12 Camps:

  • Brainiacs
  • Science Girls
  • Machine Masterminds
  • GameCraft 1.0
  • Stop-Motion Animation 2.0

Ages 11-12 Camps:

  • Sci-Bots 2.0

Ages 12-14 Camps:

  • GameCraft 2.0
