Life Size Mario Kart Racetrack You Need to See – Coming to Canada This Summer

There is a real life Mario Kart race track coming to Canada.

Inspired by the popular Nintendo game, this racetrack will be the biggest of its kind in North America. The Niagara Speedway is located at 4960 Clifton Hill, Niagara Falls, Ontario. It is a perfect addition to Clifton Park, which is already is home to many family fun attractions already, including a Midway, indoor waterpark, Ripley’s Believe it or Not museum, mini golf, interactive zombie attack and more!

The projected opening date for the race track is June 1, 2018. There is a height requirement of 147.32 cm (58″ or 4 foot 10) for drivers and 101.6 cm (40″ or 3 foot 4) for passengers. To carry a passenger the driver must be 18 years old or be the parent or legal guardian of the child.

The Go-Karts are 9 Horsepower Honda Engines. The racetrack starts with a road course, then spirals up, and ends with a long hill. Driving skills will be put to the test with hairpin turns, straightway and an elevated ramp. Definitely something I am going to want to check out this Summer!
