Blue Quill Playschool provides a premier program for children ages 3-5 in south Edmonton. Our motto is simple: Learn through play! We believe the best way for children to grow is by exploring, creating, and learning at their own pace.

The program is designed to prepare children socially, emotionally, and academically for kindergarten and beyond. Greenfield Playschool

Greenfield Playschool provides a preschool program for 3 and 4 year olds in South Edmonton. We offer a holistic learning environment that supports children’s learning through play, communication skills and literacy development. We are a diverse group and have a social responsibility to nurture each child’s wellbeing.

We are committed to providing a learning space that inspires creativity and honours and reflects the diversity of each child and their families. We celebrate each student’s social practices, cultural practices and traditions. We also focus throughout the whole year on promoting kindness with others, as well as being kind to ourselves. Practicing kindness creates a safe and loving environment for children to thrive and promotes social responsibility to become a good citizen.

Joca and Carlin first met while studying Early Childhood Education at MacEwan University in 2006. Sharing a passion for helping children grow in positive, nurturing environments, they have joined forces to create a space where every child can thrive.

Lago Lindo Preschool

At Lago Lindo Preschool we believe in the power of theme-based play to support holistic development. Through a variety of activities and natural playtimes, we aim to foster key skills including cooperation, sharing and taking turns, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and literacy and numeracy skills.

Our program is guided by engaging monthly themes, field trips, in-class guests, and a team of fantastic teachers who create a warm and welcoming environment.

We follow a play-based curriculum designed to support the developmental needs of children aged 3-5. Our daily routine offers a balance of structure and flexibility, giving children the freedom to explore, play and learn at their own pace, all while building a strong sense of belonging, independence and self-regulation.

LCDS Preschool & Kindergarten

Malmo Pre-Kindergarten

We are a non-profit, parent-cooperative preschool for children ages three to five years old located in southwest Edmonton.

Our morning program uses free time play and learning centers to develop motor skills and encourage critical thinking, independence, creativity, and cooperation.

Our afternoon program is a hybrid of our morning program with a deep focus on outside play and exploration. We believe in hands-on discovery, fostering a connection to the environment.

Rio Terrace Community Preschool

We believe preschool should feel a whole lot like childhood!

At Rio Terrace Community Preschool, you’ll find kids making potions, creating masterpieces, singing loudly, asking a million questions, climbing our indoor climbing wall, zooming down the slide, getting muddy, making friends, and learning a whole lot along the way.

Since 1968, our little community preschool has been growing mighty learners through hands-on, play-based learning. Inspired by Alberta’s Flight framework, our experienced early childhood educators follow children’s curiosity, encourage big ideas, and create a space where kids feel safe to try, explore, problem-solve, and be wonderfully themselves.

For our outdoor-loving learners, our Explorers program (open to 4 year olds and morning kinders) takes learning beyond the classroom, with most of our time spent outside exploring, adventuring, and discovering the world around us.

Super Kids Playschool

Super Kids Playschool brings a fresh approach to early learning in west Edmonton, where growth happens in motion! Our program combines FLIGHT, the research-based Tools of the Mind curriculum with Process Art and daily movement, building the self-regulation and school readiness skills that set kids up for kindergarten success.

With exclusive daytime access to Velocity Complex, children enjoy gymnastics, acro, circus arts, and aerial arts every day, guided by certified, passionate educators. From make-believe play to their first forward roll, every child learns, moves, and thrives at their own pace.
