Community League Skating Rinks Open ⛸️❄️
Many community leagues have announced the opening of their skating rinks. Ice conditions depend on the weather, so please contact the league directly to confirm they are open before heading out.
December 27
Soul Steppin Line Dancin at Duggan Hall 💃🎶
Drop in for a toonie and learn to line dance at Duggan Community Hall.
Time: 11 am to 12 pm
Beacon Heights Hip Hop on the Ave at The ARC 🎤🕺
A free, all ages, inclusive community event. Membership volunteers will be onsite with free memberships for residents of Abbottsfield, Beacon Heights, and Bergman in honour of the community league’s 60th anniversary.

Pub Night at Ritchie Community League 🍺🎉
Celebrate the end of the year with Happy Beer Street beer, cheezies, and non alcoholic options so everyone feels included.
Time: 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm
Age: 18 plus
Cost: 5 dollars at the door
Babysitter and Parent Meet and Greet at La Perle Community League ☕👶
A casual meet and greet for parents and babysitters to connect over coffee and light refreshments.
Time: 11 am to 1 pm

Ice Rink Pop Up at Lewis Estates ⛸️🔥
Bundle up and join your neighbours for a cozy winter afternoon with hot chocolate, cookies, a warm fire, and great company.

Card and board game night hosted at Beverly Heights Community League.

Free Community Swims 🏊♀️
Community league memberships include swim related perks through the City of Edmonton Community League Wellness Program. Check days and times for free community swims in your neighbourhood.

Ring in the New Year at Baturyn Rinks ⛸️🎆
Celebrate New Year’s Eve with skating, a cash concession, and Uncle John’s Fireworks Show.
Rinks Open: 12 pm to 10 pm
Fireworks: 8 pm
A Farewell to 2025 at Chappelle Park 🎇🔥
A free, family friendly winter celebration featuring smores, hot chocolate, sleigh rides, and a fire dancer.
Time: 2 pm to 4 pm
New Year’s Eve Party at Delton Community League 🎉
Community celebration to ring in the New Year.

New Year’s Eve at Woodcroft Community Centre 🎆🔥
Woodcroft, Dovercourt, Sherbrooke, and Inglewood Community Leagues team up for a New Year’s Eve celebration.
Hotdogs and drinks by the fire at 8 pm.
Fireworks at 9 pm.
Celebrate the New Year at Queen Mary Park 🎊🥂
Tickets include appetizers, one free drink, a champagne toast, and lots of fun.
Tickets: 40 dollars advance or 50 dollars at the door

Winter Festival at WWWCC Community League ❄️🎉
The first ever Winter Festival featuring sleigh rides, firepits, hot chocolate, crafts, skating, tobogganing, movies, and more.
New Year’s Day Skate at Beverly Heights ⛸️🎶
Beverly Heights opens their rinks for a free New Year’s Day skate with music, food, and skating.
Time: 12 pm to 4 pm
Cost: Free entry
